Retro Pop & Love

Kafé de luxe forms a just-right crooked oasis inbetween Växjö's perpendicular concrete and is located in what is locally know as “Snus-Lundgren's” old 18th-century house. Here we do our best to make life even a little more fun than it already is—for ourselves as well as for you dear guests! Our cornerstones consist of heartfelt cooking, cake baking, drinking culture, live music & all kinds of cultural expressions, but most important are all of you who visit us!

The heart and pulse of the business is open almost every day. More precisely from 11.30 all days of the week until late A quick scroll at the bottom gives you exact times.

Our Food

In our prized kitchen, we combine equal parts of the traditional with the innovative. Well-known ingredients prepared in an unexpected way, or vice versa. The ingredients in this wonderful proverbial soup are largely locally produced and organic as much as possible. During the summer we use produce from Ekobacken–the little hill just a stones throw away from the restaurant’s kitchen.

Concerts & nightclub

The only guests we happily welcome to our dance and music events are the big and small, old and young, black, white and pink, hip and old, thin and fat, women and men, ladies and gentlemen — who are friendly and not too dizzy.

Fridays and Saturdays we hit the roof with DJs, clubs and hangouts until 03 with free entry before midnight subject to availability. After that, entry is SEK 100 on Fridays, SEK 120 on Saturdays. Concerts earlier in the evening have their own entrance fee; welcome to hang out in the living room then!
